Beckasin weighted blanket 5 kg is suitable for children (approx. 4-12 years) or people where there is a problem with aches or pain and therefore have difficulty handling heavier blankets.

Weighted blanket in temperature-regulating cotton sateen designed to naturally reduce stress, provide relaxation and increased well-being. A great gift for yourself or loved ones. The heavy blanket helps the nervous system to relax by simulating the feeling of being held or hugged and makes you fall asleep quickly and sleep better.

Compartments filled with hypoallergenic, non-toxic and odorless crystallized sand crystals (not silicone or polyethylene) provide an even pressure that causes the duvet to form tightly to the body for a comfortable, enveloping pressure - similar to a warm hug. The weight blanket releases a series of body-specific hormones that have an anti-anxiety and calming effect. Blood pressure is lowered, breathing becomes calmer and this makes a considerable difference to the quality of your sleep.

Free from polyester and microplastics

The weight blanket's outer fabric and padding are made of 100% cotton - completely free of polyester and microplastics. The skin cooperates with other organ systems, for example the kidneys, which have the task of cleaning the body. As part of this process, the skin sheds waste products through its many sweat glands. Sweating is thus an important and cleansing process for the body and it can be burdensome for the body's cleansing system if the sweat glands are clogged by, for example, antiperspirant textiles such as microfiber and polyester. They inhibit the breathing of the skin and you then experience the uncomfortable, sweaty feeling we tend to associate with low breathability.

Safe and secure with Oeko-Tex and CE certification

Beckasin weight blankets are certified by the international control body Oeko Tex Association. The labeling means that the textiles have undergone thorough tests and are free of additives that can be dangerous for skin and health.

Washing advice: In the vast majority of cases, it is enough to air the weighted blanket regularly if you use cases and duvet covers. If you still need to wash the duvet, choose a gentle washing program with low spin that corresponds to hand washing. The blanket stays best if it is allowed to dry. Do not tumble dry or iron. It is also fine to steam wash or submit the duvet to dry cleaning. Shaken and aired regularly, must not be whipped or vacuumed.

Surplus

Some companies have a surplus on goods, such as hand tools, that they need help selling. PS then acts as an additional sales channel for that client.
The auctions are often characterized by large volumes, low reserves and free shipping.
This differs from bankruptcy sales as it is a voluntary sale.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
